Week 2
What did you do this past week?
This past week, I set up my environment, passed the first test, and thought of ways to pass the second and third tests.
What’s in your way?
I don’t know python that well, so I’m confused about how to cache
But I’m learning!
What will you do next week?
I will be finishing up Collatz this week, trying to finish the HackerRank by Thursday and the rest of the workflow by the end of the week.
What was your experience of assertions, unit tests, and coverage?
I’ve been exposed to assertions, unit tests, and coverage with OOP but these technologies are different with Python, so I’m still excited to learn them!
How are you doing and holding up? What’s been most helpful for you in terms of support at this time?
I’m doing well! I feel like I’m much busier than I usually would be in person. There’s a lot more time dedicated to organizations and extracurriculars because there’s no travel time. The most helpful support I’ve received was FaceTiming with my friends after my classes and napping :)
What made you happy this week?
I went home this weekend and I got to see my family. It was a nice change of pace since I’m living by myself for the most part this semester.
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
I saw this in Data Mining and I thought it was funny. It’s things that are surprisingly correlated:
