Entry 10?

yeet

What did you do this past week?

This past week I reaccustomed myself to school online, and I prepared and took three of my exams, one of which was Test#1b. I also got to finish Project 3 with my partner.

What’s in your way?

Not much actually. Other than needing to study heavily for my Algo exam on Wednesday, I still need to figure out how to properly install VS Code for this next project, since my partner for the last project and I did not use it. I think it will be a useful tool in addition to Zoom meetings that will help me and my current project partner finish the project faster.

What will you do next week?

This next week, I plan to study for Algo, of course, but I also want to figure out a simple implementation for the Darwin project and get the HackerRank tests to pass by the end of Saturday. I hope to discuss the implementation in detail before actually writing code.

What was your experience of Test #1b?

The night before the test, a couple of friends and I got together to figure out possible questions and variations of previous Test #1a questions. It turned out we were spot on, which helped me and my test-taking partners finish the exam and help each other out.

What made you happy this week?

I got to spend a lot of time with my family this week. Living at home has become reminiscent of high school days since I only visit my family a couple of times in the year now that I’m in college. I’m very excited to have a relaxed schedule for the rest of the semester.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip-of-the-week is to smile! (Smile when you wake up. Do it tomorrow… When you wake up.) I know it sounds cheesy (ahaha), but it really does help given the circumstances. I can’t go outside since my parents are at-risk individuals, but I’m still very happy that they’re with me.

Continue to stay positive!
